Rosetta #2: A natural stone topped folk art table with a banded agate focus stone

This natural stone topped table is 21 /12" square by 29" tall. The top features a slab of Rosetta stone (a spectacularly banded agate from Utah). The removable top includes Lyons sandstone from the quarries near Boulder Colorado. Buildings on the University of Colorado, Boulder campus are constructed with Lyons sandstone.
The base started out life intending to be a bar stool. I stopped the production line before the back was put on and made a table out of it.
Use this in as an accent in your entry way, living room, dining room, kitchen or bed room. It could also be used as a plant stand.
The top is waterproof, however long exposures to direct sunlight will evaporate the oil based sealant. If this happens the table top can be restored to its original condition by cleaning and re-sealing it.

Care instructions
My tables are water, wine, beer, and whiskey resistant. They are designed for indoor use. Clean them with soap and water.
They can be used on a covered patio. Extended exposure to direct sunlight degrades most of the focus stones and evaporates the oil based sealant I use. Contact me for information on how to clean and reseal lyons sandstone slabs and grout that has been degraded by extended exposure to direct sunlight.
My trivits are NOT diswasher safe. Clean them with a damp rag.
Custom and personalized orders
For a modest fee I can interchange tops and bases. Hairpin legs are available in 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 and 28" lengths and I have an inventory of recycled steel bases. Contact me at Bill@WKPAccentTables.com
