This was my 39th table.  I made it in 2014.  I really enjoyed laying out the foucs stone and surrounding red Lyons sandstone.  I was pleased with the design but .....I was getting tired of doing mostly round table tops using used whiskey barrel hoops for rims.   

I started experimenting with various thickness of steel and finally reallized that 1/16" steel was bendable enough to easily make round, sqaure, convex, and even some convex shapes.    

The proof that I didn't have to use round whiskey barrel hoops for rims was when I sucessfully made my first dinosaur track table/stool (below).
