Small Dinner Table of Breakfast Table

Small Dinner Table of Breakfast Table

Are you familiar with the red sandstone used on the University of Colorao's Boulder campus buildings.  I live in Boulder and have access to the quarries where this Lyon sand stone is obtained.  Its a hard stone that was originally used for sidewalks in Denver, Chicago, and other midwestern cities.

I've taken some thin (1/2") slabs, and a nice piece of petrified wood to make this 40" hexagonal x 29" tall table.  The top is removeable from the welded steel tube base.

This is the second table like this I've made. The first one is in a studio appartment behind my son's house in Porland Oregon.

You can see this table in person at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Convention Cener Show February 14-17, or drop me a note (Bill@WKPAccentTables) to set up a visit to my shop.
