Malachite is a spectacular green mineral.  People have been using it for decorations for centruies.  I have yet to find flat slabs of polished malachite large enough for me to use in one of my tables.  A couple of years ago I ran into a display of 24" round slabs of composite malachite from the Congo at a price that was challenging, but doable.  I put it on a simple recylced base I had to get the accent table displayed here.

This table will take over any room its in, so its not for everyone.  But If you are adventurous you should adapt a room to accomodate its essence.  

The shipping costs are high because this table is heavy and bulky, but more importantly I don't have a shipping discount like the fellows selling tables made in China.
