Peacock

Peacock

I found this slab of peacock marble at a rock shop in Lakewood about 30 miles from Boulder.   I found the base at a local thrift shop!  The Lyons sandstone comes from quarries north of Boulder.  The steel rim was cut from a sheet of steel and acquired its patina in my back yard.  The black grout, screws holding the rim on, and the oil based sealant came from McGuckins, our local hardware store.

The result is the 28" x 28 1/2" x 23" tall table that will 'pop' any room you put it in.

See it at the Walnut Gallery in Longmont Colorado and details about it on my web site wkpaccenttables.com    Shipping is free to the lower 48 states.
