Hand Stand 143

Hand Stand 143

Left hand and Lyons sandstone have special meaning to people who live in or have lived in the Boulder Valley in Colorado.  Lyons sandstone is used in the iconic University of Colorado buildings.  Chief Niwot, who was left handed, of the local indican band noted that  ny one who has experienced the Boulder Valley will return.

I left in 1971 with no plans to return until I did in 1997.

This piece is for sale on my web site.  Use it as a stand for a small sculpture or plant.

Or use it to remind yourself that you are (or should be) back in Boulder!
